Coaching Experience
I’ve been coaching with Bedgebury Forest Cycle Club since 2022. From April to September I coach junior groups as a volunteer. I also provide individual coaching for adults at Bedgebury independantly.

About my mountain biking experience
I started riding at Bedgebury in 2006 and have been a regular visitor ever since. Other places I ride are the Bull Track, Surrey Hills and Friston Forest including the South Downs. Now and then I have a trip to Wales, usually in the South but with a few at Snowdonia National Park.
In 2013 I joined Bedgebury Forest Cycle Club doing Saturday morning club rides and volunteer trail build work. In the 2010s I worked as part of the trail build crew on new trail development. Following some downhill racing at the Bull Track I tried XC racing at Bedgebury and really enjoyed it. I became part of the BFCC committee as the website officer.
Post pandemic I qualified as a BC Level 1 coach and began volunteer coaching on Saturday Mornings. In 2024 I became deputy chairperson of BFCC and am currently part of the race organising team. In May 2025 I did another coaching qualification with British Cycling as an off-road specific coach.
I like to encourage others to enjoy riding off road as much as I do. So if you’d like a coacing session please have a look at the options here.
